Some Arsenal fans have responded to the club’s post on Mesut Ozil on Twitter.

Arsenal have posted a photo of Ozil – as well as of his teammates Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Rob Holding – in training on the social networking site.

The 31-year-old attacking midfielder is out of contract at the Gunners at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

The former Real Madrid star has not been a regular part of the starting lineup under head coach Mikel Arteta.

According to WhoScored, Ozil has not played a competitive game since March 7 when he featured against West Ham United in the Premier League.

Arteta became the new Arsenal head coach in December 2019, and while the Spaniard did play Ozil initially, since football resumed after lockdown, the German has failed to play a single minute.

As reported by talkSPORT, Arteta left the 31-year-old out of the FA Community Shield against Liverpool as well.

However, Ozil is back in training now, and Arsenal have posted a photo of him smiling during a session, and some fans of the North London outfit have responded to it, as shown below.
