Arsenal fans are pleased to see Matteo Guendouzi back in action with Hertha Berlin.

The Arsenal midfielder has been loaned out of Hertha for the season, after failing out of favour with Mikel Arteta.

His start for the Bundesliga side has not gone to plan though, as he has been suffering with injury so early on in his stay.

Guendouzi missed a few weeks worth of action, but is now stepping up his training schedule, as he seeks to return to fitness.

And Arsenal fans were quick to encourage the French midfielder on Twitter.

Whether a strong season in Germany would be enough to force Guendouzi back into Arsenal’s plans remains to be seen.

Arteta seemingly had serious doubts over the 21-year-old, with his attitude called into question.

The youngster does remain a talent though, and if he can knuckle down and impress in the Bundesliga, then Arsenal may be keen to give him a second chance next summer.
