The Arsenal left-back had a difficult night in the English Premier League.
Some Arsenal fans were left majorly disappointed by the performance of Sead Kolasinac on Monday night.
The Gunners missed their chance to move into third place in the English Premier League, losing 1-0 away to Sheffield United.
Chris Wilder’s side were winless in the three matches heading into the fixture but surprised everyone with a robust performance that frustrated Unai Emery’s team throughout the 90 minutes.
The Blades jumped from 16th position to 9th following the victory.
Prior to the match, there was real expectation amongst some Arsenal fans that Kieran Tierney would be given the nod at left-back.
The summer signing has yet to make his Premier League bow due to fitness issues, but was in contention to play and was named on the bench.
However, Emery clearly felt he was not quite ready to be introduced into the team at that level.
Kolasinac, who earns £100,000-a-week according to Spotrac, struggled to make much of an impact on the game. Of the four Arsenal defenders, he had the least amount of possession, as per WhoScored.com.
There will now be further pressure on Emery to bench the Bosnian international.
