Some Arsenal fans have been reacting after seeing that Bukayo Saka has been listed as a forward in the latest England squad.
The 19-year-old has once again been selected to play for England, and while in the past he has been listed as a defender due to Gareth Southgate’s tendency to play his as a left-back, he’s now being recognised as an attacking player.
It makes a lot of sense. After all, Saka has been playing as a winger for some time now, but some Arsenal fans seem to think this indicates he will no longer be played as a full-back for England.
Whether or not this does represent a positional switch for the teenager on the international stage remains to be seen, but it is certainly intriguing to see that Saka has now been listed as a forward.
Hopefully, the youngster can star on the international stage as he has done for Arsenal over the past 12 months.
