Yannick Bolasie has sent a cryptic tweet has some Arsenal fans talking in light of Tottenham Hotspur’s elimination from the Europa League.

Spurs were dumped out of the competition after losing 3-0 on the night to Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia.

Tottenham had a 2-0 advantage going into the second leg but Jose Mourinho’s side capitulated on the night.

Shortly after the defeat, Bolasie sent a tweet using the red and white emoji in what some Arsenal fans believe is an example of the 31-year-old – on loan in the Championship from Everton – nailing his colours to the mast.

Here’s how some Gunners fans responded to the £30 million winger’s tweet last night:

Arsenal fans will argue that North London is already red.

Yes, Spurs are ahead of them in the Premier League table, but Mikel Arteta’s side beat their noisy neighbours 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium last weekend.

And progressing further than them in Europe will only consolidate what the Arsenal fans – and Bolasie – believe.
