Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Cedric Soares against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Soares was in action for Arsenal in their Premier League game against Wolves away from home in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
It was the 28-year-old full-back’s full debut for the Gunners, with the player having previously made just a substitute appearance in the Premier League for the North London outfit.
The Portugal international played in a wing-back role against the Wanderers, and although it was not a great full debut, the former Southampton man played well and gave a solid performance.
According to WhoScored, against Wolves on Saturday evening, Soares had a pass accuracy of 88.5%, took 37 touches, made two tackles and one interception, and put in one cross.
The win against Wolves has enhanced Arsenal’s chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
