Some Arsenal fans on social media have been purring over a goal Gabriel Martinelli scored in training that was posted on the club’s official Twitter account.
The Brazilian scored a beauty of a strike at London Colney, blasting the ball perfectly into the far corner from an acute angle.
As you can imagine, Gunners fans were very impressed by what they were seeing, and they took to social media to once again campaign for him to get a start.
Many supporters were calling for him to get into the XI in the next game, and while we don’t know whether or not he will be selected, it is interesting to note that this goal was scored right in front of Mikel Arteta, who can be seen watching on in the background.
Arteta will surely have been impressed by what he’s seen here, and with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looking out of sorts lately, it may be time for the Spaniard to call upon this young talent.
