Some Arsenal fans are saying the same thing about Aouar after last night’s red card

Reported Arsenal target Houssem Aouar got into a little bit of trouble last night.

The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to North London in recent weeks.

According to Lyon sporting director Juninho, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is a big fan of the midfielder [RMC Sport] and the Brazilian has already spoken to Edu about him.

ESPN  also reported last week that the Spanish coach is such an admirer of Aouar that he plans to build his entire team around him.

But Arteta won’t have been a fan of the tackle that saw him receive a red card during the defeat by Montpellier on Tuesday evening.

Aouar was given his marching orders on 44 minutes after his studs made contact with the shin of Arnaud Souquet, after the ball had gone.

It was initially deemed a bookable offence but, after a VAR check, the Frenchman was dismissed.

And a lot of Arsenal fans on Twitter are saying believe that it was his last game for the Ligue 1 outfit.
