Some Arsenal fans are responding to Charlie Patino’s tweet.
The Arsenal Under-23 side beat Blackburn Rovers 3-2 in a Premier League 2 game on Monday night.
Flo Balogun scored an 89th-minute winner, as the Gunners previously lost a two-goal lead.
But it was mainly an exciting win because it gave Patino the chance to make his retutrn.
The 17-year-old Hale End sensation has been injured as of late, but he faced Rovers.
Here’s how Arsenal fans responded to his post-match tweet on Tuesday:
Shame
It’s actually a big shame Mikel Arteta’s side have no Europa League football this season.
Even in the Europa Conference League, it could’ve been a launch pad for a number of exciting young Gunners.
Last season, Balogun scored a couple in Europe’s secondary competition and Patino would’ve certainly been involved this time around.
This is such an exciting talent and you only hope that Arsenal manage him right.
Other clubs also have very bright prospects who have struggled to fulfill their potential, like Troy Parott at Tottenham for example.
But for now, the Arsenal youngster is developing fine and it’ll be fascinating to see how much more advanced he is this time next year.
