Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their take on the current situation of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of next season, and it is not clear if the Gabon international striker will sign a new deal.

The 30-year-old striker recently told Telefoot that the ball is in Arsenal’s court regarding a new contract.

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has since said that he is confident that a new contract will be agreed with the former Borussia Dortmund star, as quoted on BBC Sport.

Aubameyang is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is a proven goalscorer, and the Gunners would struggle without him.

According to WhoScored, the 30-year-old has scored 17 goals in the Premier League so far this season, and scored 22 goals in the league during the 2018-19 campaign.

Some Arsenal fans have given their take on Aubameyang’s situation on Twitter, and below are some of the best comments:

Meanwhile, Neymar was surprised by Paris Saint-Germain’s decision to let Thiago Silva leave this summer, according to UOL Esporte.

PSG have decided not to hand Silva a new contract, meaning that the defender will become a free agent at the end of the month.

According to 90min, Arsenal are among a number of clubs interested in signing the Brazil international on a free transfer this summer.

Given Silva’s winning mentality, experience and quality, he would be a very good signing for the Gunners.
