Some Arsenal and Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Emiliano Martinez against Sheffield United on Monday evening.
Martinez made his debut for Villa in their Premier League game against the Blades at Villa Park this evening.
The Argentine goalkeeper recently joined the Villans from Arsenal for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £40 million.
The 28-year-old played well for the Gunners in the final weeks of last season when Bernd Leno was injured.
However, Leno is now back fit and available, and Martinez decided to leave the Gunners and join Villa to play regular first-team football.
With Tom Heaton injured at the moment, the Argentine went straight into the Villa starting lineup tonight.
Martinez played well between the posts and made a brilliant save from the penalty in the 36th minute when he denied John Lundstrum from the spot, as the home team won 1-0.
Some Arsenal and Villa fans were impressed with the display produced by Martinez, especially his save from the penalty, and have raved about him on Twitter.
