Nottingham Forest fans have had a divided response to Aitor Karanka’s comments on the atmosphere at the City Ground.

Karanka was talking to BBC Nottingham Sport when he suggested that Forest fans were putting their own team under pressure.

The Spaniard felt that the Reds supporters had made it more difficult for their own side against Norwich City at the weekend, at times.

And some Forest fans have questioned whether the comments are wise for Karanka to have made.

Forest were beaten 2-1 by Norwich in their last outing, as their strong run of form came to an end.

The Reds are currently in ninth place in the Championship, but expectations are definitely high at the City Ground.

Forest are next in action tomorrow against Bolton Wanderers, and Karanka may be intrigued to see whether his team play with more freedom on their travels.
