Manchester United travel to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke to reporters today, ahead of his side’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, and took time to praise Harry Kane, labelling the striker as one of the best int he world, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News.
United head into the clash with Spurs three places and 10 points adrift of Mauricio Pochettino’s men, so a win will be of paramount importance to their hopes of fishing inside the top four this season.
Tottenham have been in imperious form of late, however, bar their home defeat to Wolves a couple of weeks ago, and Manchester United will have to be at their very best, if they are to take maximum points back to Old Trafford.
One man in particular who the Red Devils will have to keep quiet is Harry Kane, and Solskjaer warned his players of the threat that will be posed by the 25-year-old, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News:
“He’s not bad is he? He’s a fantastic goalscorer, one of the best in the world to play up there. He’s a top top professional, whoever plays with him and trains with him can talk more about him but from the outside he’s a fantastic finisher, he never misses chances really so let’s make sure he doesn’t get any against us.”
Kane is arguably the continent’s most deadly out-and-out striker, and with 196 goals for club and country to his name already, it is no surprise to see the United boss warn his players of the Tottenham star’s quality…not that they need reminding.
