Tottenham travel to face Manchester United on Sunday afternoon at the end of a grueling week for Jose Mourinho’s side.

Harry Kane smashed in a hat trick against Maccabi Haifa last night to take his tally for the season to six.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was asked about the prospect of keeping Kane quiet at his pre-match press conference on the club’s official app at 10am on 02/10/20.

The Norwegian was a prolific goal-getter in his career and acknowledged the quality of Kane.

“I think every coach when you play against a team with the quality they have… with Harry Kane you prepare really well.

“Harry’s one of the top strikers in the world and you’re just happy he’s back fit after the injury he had last year.

“We’ll do our best to keep him quiet, we have a Harry back there who’s looking forward to playing against his international mate.”

United’s defence has looked flimsy at best in their two league games so far.

They’ve conceded five goals to Brighton and Crystal Palace and it honestly could have been more in both matches.

Palace cut through at will, using the counter-attacking style Mourinho prefers.

Brighton hit the woodwork five times and forced an incredible stoppage-time save out of David de Gea before losing 3-2 agonisingly late on.

Kane should be licking his lips at the prospect of facing this United backline, even at the end of an exhausting week.
