Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Villarreal players praise Tottenham Hotspur star Eric Dier for his goal for England against Russia in the Euro 2016 game.

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has taken to social networking site Twitter to praise Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier.
Dier was arguably England’s best player in their opening Euro 2016 game against Russia on Saturday evening.
The 22-year-old, who can also feature as a defender, started the Group B match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Three Lions played out a 1-1 draw.
The Tottenham youngster put in a solid performance in holding midfield and also scored for England with a brilliant free kick. Dier had a pass accuracy of 89%, and won two headers and one tackle.
DR Congo international winger Bolasie was following the match, and he was impressed with the shift put in by the former Sporting Lisbon midfielder.
Interestingly, Bolasie was linked with a move to Spurs in the summer of 2015, with The Daily Express reporting at the time about the North London club’s interest in the winger.
Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish was also impressed with Dier’s goal, and was so was Villarreal striker Roberto Soldado, who played with the England international at Tottenham before his departure from White Hart Lane in the summer of 2015.
