Tottenham Hotspur must beware a giantkilling.

Ex Arsenal player Sol Campbell looks on during the Emirates FA Cup Final between Arsenal and Chelsea at Wembley Stadium on May 27, 2017 in London, England.

Tottenham Hotspur face a potential giant killing tonight when they face Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup.

Spurs will have to be at their best to face the League Two side, after tricky ties in the competition against lower league opposition last season.

Former Tottenham defender and hate figure Sol Campbell has chimed in on the contest, after his Macclesfield Town side took on Tranmere.

Speaking to The Sun, Campbell warned Tottenham could fall flat on their faces, but backed striker Harry Kane to save them.

Campbell said: “If Tranmere buzz around Tottenham like they did us in the first half especially, they will be a handful.

“Absolutely they have a real chance of creating a big upset.”

Harry Kane of England looks on during a training session at St Georges Park on May 28, 2018 in Burton-upon-Trent, England.

Speaking about Harry Kane he said: “He learned a lot of his football in the lower divisions and knows the score.

“You saw against Newport and Rochdale last season that there were no airs and graces from him.”

Tottenham are in third place in the Premier League, just six points back from leaders Liverpool.

A FA Cup defeat would halt some of the positive momentum they have been building.

Last year Spurs reached the semi-finals of the competition and if they take it seriously, the FA Cup can provide a good chance to answer their critics and win silverware.
