Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have two of the Premier League’s best players amongst their ranks.
Sol Campbell
When speaking live on Sky Sports‘ Premier League Daily show at 10:39 am on Tuesday March 7th, former Spurs and Arsenal defender Sol Campbell responded to a question asking him who he would rather have faced in his prime out of Eden Hazard and Harry Kane.
The England and Belgium internationals are arguably the Premier League’s two most dangerous attackers, certainly at this present moment, and have played major roles in their sides’ success so far this season.
Kane has 19 goals and four assists to his name in 22 Premier League appearances for Tottenham this term, whilst Hazard has contributed with 11 goals and four assists during the 26 games he has played for the Blues.
And Campbell, who made 503 Premier League appearances during a highly-decorated career, responded to a question asking him which of the two players he would have hated to face most during his prime, when speaking to Sky Sports:
Tottenham’s Harry Kane in action
“Probably Hazard because he’s coming from deep and he’s running, it’s probably a little bit harder to deal with. If someone’s up against you, I think it’s easier for a centre-half.”
Antonio Conte’s men are flying high in the table, 10 points clear of Pochettino’s side, and where the two sides finish in the league will have a huge bearing on who ends up winning the Player of the Year award at the end of the season.
It would take a brave man to bet against either of them at the moment though.
