Former Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Sol Campbell has spoken highly of Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen to The Sun Dream Team FC.
Campbell has picked the Tottenham duo in his back-four for The Sun Dream Team FC’s Proper Legends team.
The former England international defender believes that Tottenham centre-back Vertonghen will be solid for the North London outfit in the upcoming 2016-17 season.
The former Newcastle United man has also stated that Spurs left-back Rose’s reputation is growing.

“It’s either him or Toby Alderweireld,” Campbell told The Sun Dream Team FC about Vertonghen. “I’ll go with Vertonghen. I think he could resurface and be solid again.”
“It’s difficult to choose a left-back, but Danny Rose could have another good season,” added Campbell about Rose. “He’s another one whose reputation is growing.”

Vertonghen was one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League last season, while Rose established himself as one of the best left-backs in England during the 2015-16 campaign.
The duo will be important for Spurs in their quest to win the Premier League title this season.
Rose scored one goal and created 24 chances in 24 Premier League appearances for Tottenham last season.
The England international left-back had a pass accuracy of 79% and a shot accuracy of 22%, and won 22 headers, 28 dribbles and 56 tackles.
Vertonghen created six chances in 29 Premier League games for Spurs during the 2015-16 campaign.
The 29-year-old centre-back had a pass accuracy of 88% and a shot accuracy of 29%, and won 52 headers, 13 dribbles and 36 tackles.
