The Reds academy graduate has been a revelation for Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.

Sol Campbell looks on during a training session ahead of their international match against Italy at St Georges Park on November 12, 2018 in Burton-upon-Trent, England.

Premier League and England legend Sol Campbell has spoken very highly of Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, claiming he’s got a fantastic future ahead and praising his efforts in the early stages of the 2019-20 season (Sky Sports News).

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a superb upward trajectory over the past year, establishing himself not only as the Reds’ first-choice right-back but also being deemed one of the best in the world in his position – not to mention getting his hands on the Champions League last term after playing a key role in the campaign.

This term, Alexander-Arnold has hit the ground running once again, with Liverpool having won all six of their Premier League games so far, including in the tough game against Chelsea last time out, in which the youngster scored a goal and delivered another superb performance at both ends of his flank.

Campbell was part of the team which put together the Sky Sports Premier League Team of the Month for September and there was little dispute over who would be slotting in the right-back position, the Arsenal legend singing Alexander-Arnold’s praises.

“Such a young lad in the game. He’s got a fantastic future ahead,” Campbell told Sky Sports News. “He’s scoring goals as well. He’s doing everything and he’s enjoying it at the same time. When you look at the stats and also how he’s played, he has character.”

Up next for Liverpool is today’s Premier League trip to newcomers Sheffield United.
