Sol Campbell has given his take on Arsenal youngster Martin Odegaard on Stadium Astro after watching him in action against Manchester United.
Odegaard recently joined Arsenal on loan from Spanish and European giants Real Madrid in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder made his competitive debut for Arsenal in their Premier League game against United at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Saturday evening.
The Norway international did not start the match, but the youngster came on as a substitute in the 83rd minute when he replaced Emile Smith Rowe.
Former Arsenal defender Campbell has given his verdict on Odegaard after watching him in action.
The Englishman believes that Odegaard will get better as he gets a run of games, adding that he has already seen glimpses of his talent during the few minutes he played against United.
Campbell said about Odegaard on Stadium Astro: “I think going forward if he can get more minutes on the pitch, he is going to obviously show you his quality.
“You can see he has got big quality in the way he moves, touch of the ball. He has just got to get into it, get fit and force his way in.”

How did Martin Odegaard play against Manchester United?
Odegaard did not have much time to make an impact on the game at the Emirates Stadium, but the Norwegian looked lively and took a couple of good touches of the ball.
According to WhoScored, the attacking midfielder had a pass accuracy of 100%, took three touches, and played two passes.
It could take a while for Odegaard to get up to speed, but the youngster could be very important for Arsenal in the business end of the season.
