Sol Bamba has left Championship club Leeds United.

Sol Bamba has explained to The Yorkshire Evening Post why he has spoken out against Leeds United chairman Massimo Cellino on a number of occasions.
Bamba left Leeds on September 1 by mutual consent due to personal reasons, as announced on the Championship club’s official website.
The defender, who was under contract at Elland Road until next summer, is now looking for a new club.
The 31-year-old Ivory Coast international centre-back has spoken out on a number of occasions regarding the way Cellino is running Leeds.

In October 2015, as reported by The Yorkshire Post, Bamba said that the decision to sack Uwe Rosler as the Leeds head coach was harsh.
In May 2015, the former Leicester City man, then on loan from Italian club Palermo, was quoted as saying by Yahoo! Sport that Cellino has to do better for the Championship club and the supporters.
Bamba also hit out in May 2016, as reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post, for the uncertainly over the future of then head coach Steve Evans.
Bamba has now explained why he publicly spoke about the situations at Leeds.

“Without taking things too far, I felt it was part of my job to speak honestly,” Bamba told The Yorkshire Evening Post. “The lads were dying for me to say something because none of us were happy about how things were.
“I spoke out for them and I spoke out for myself. I thought ‘if I don’t say something, who will?’ “It wasn’t me trying to cause trouble.
“I just don’t like it when things aren’t right and sometimes that message needs to come from people on the inside, people like me.
“I tried to do it with as much diplomacy as possible but I was always going to speak my mind. That’s just me.”
Leeds will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Huddersfield Town at Elland Road in the Championship.
