Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham United side are currently sat in fifth place in the Premier League, level on points with Arsenal.

West Ham are currently sat in fifth place in the Premier League table, after a fine start to their campaign.
The Hammers have looked a real threat going forward, with Sebastian Haller proving a brilliant addition to their side already.
And Sokratis admits that he thinks West Ham are now a threat to Arsenal.
“Why not? The Premier League is the best in the world,” the £92,000-a-week defender (Spotrac) said. “You have two, three, four or maybe five teams that are a little step above of the others but you see other teams like Leicester and West Ham doing very well and because of this it is a very difficult league.”
Arsenal moved back above West Ham last night with a draw against Manchester United, but they are only ahead of their London rivals on goal difference.
West Ham have a run of winnable games coming up too, with Crystal Palace, Everton, Sheffield United, Newcastle United and Burnley their next five opponents.

There is now real optimism among supporters of Manuel Pellegrini’s side that they could pick up points to continue their fantastic start to the season.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are still facing some questions over their defensive performances, but they will also be satisfied that they currently occupy a top six spot as things stand.
