Sofiane Feghouli put in an assured performance to help West Ham United end their Premier League campaign on a high note with a final-day victory at Burnley.

West Ham United rounded off their Premier League campaign with a strong team performance against Burnley last week, with goals courtesy of Andre Ayew and Sofiane Feghouli, who was impressive throughout.

Algerian international Feghouli signed for the Hammers in the summer of 2016 as a free-agent, after his contract expired with Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia.

The 27-year-old winger, who has scored 11 goals in his 42 international appearances, has had an indifferent debut season in the Premier League, scoring three and assisting the same amount in his 21 appearances for Slaven Bilic’s side.

However, he has surely proved to his doubters that he has more in his locker than has been on display throughout the season with his brilliant showing against a stubborn Burnley side.

He ran the Clarets defence ragged and was the biggest source of threat throughout a solid team performance by the Hammers, completed by his well taken goal to round off an impressive passing move by the London outfit.

Feghouli’s performance should leave food for thought for Slaven Bilic ahead of next season and the winger should be given the opportunity to prove he has the quality to have the same impact he had at Burnley on a regular basis.
