West Ham United winger Sofiane Feghouli’s start at the London Stadium has been hampered by injury.

Sofiane Feghouli has revealed to West Ham United’s official website that his teammates have all been discussing the reasons behind their poor start to the season in the dressing room.
West Ham have made an awful opening to the new campaign, and have won just one out of their first six fixtures.
West Ham are currently in 18th place in the Premier League table, and Feghouli has come to the conclusion that injuries definitely have not helped his new side.

“We are discussing the reasons for our start to the season in the dressing room. We have suffered due to a series of injuries to some key players. That alone has caused us some issues at the start of the season,” the Algerian international said.
“We also had quite a few games in a short period due to the Europa League and so physically we struggled a bit. Slowly but surely, physically we are getting back to fitness. I know personally that I need time on the pitch to improve my own match fitness and to get back my rhythm.
“I am sure that in the coming weeks as we get some of our players back to fitness, we will start to perform better as a team.”

Feghouli was one of the players who West Ham had to do without over the early part of the season, but he is coming back to fitness now.
Slaven Bilic’s men are without the likes of Aaron Cresswell, Andy Carroll and Arthur Masuaku currently.
The Hammers’ injury problems have not excused their slow start to the new season, though, with frustrations quickly rising around the London Stadium.
West Ham are next in action against Middlesbrough at the weekend, and failure to get three points would be a huge disappointment.
