West Ham United star Sofiane Feghouli has insisted to the club’s official website that they find it exciting to play at the London Stadium.
The Hammers have endured a disastrous start to this season, managing just one win in their first six games.
Their poor form continued on Sunday as they were comfortably beaten 3-0 at home by Southampton, their fourth straight defeat in the league.
Their struggles at their new home have been well documented, with many believing they have failed to adapt since moving from Upton Park.

Indeed, all indications have so far been they are not enjoying their new surroundings but Feghouli insists that isn’t the case.
“It is really exciting for us to play in front of so many fans at home,” he told the club’s official website.
“We hope that they can continue to support us and push us on throughout the ninety minutes so that we can start winning games at home.”

The stats certainly seem to suggest that West Ham are enjoying playing at the London Stadium, despite their overall struggles.
So far at home they have fared better defensively than they have away, conceding fewer attempts to their opponents per game.
They have also fared better going forward, registering more key passes and shots on target as well as creating more big chances than they have on the road.
