West Ham United seem to have turned the corner in recent weeks.
During an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, Hammers winger Sofiane Feghouli explained how the West Ham fans have still not seen the best of him since his summer arrival from Valencia.
The Algerian struggled to establish himself at the Olympic Stadium initially, but has started the Hammers’ last two Premier League games, and has performed admirably during their back-to-back victories.
West Ham United’s Sofiane Feghouli
Feghouli has made 11 Premier League appearances for West Ham in total so far, scoring one goal and chipping in with an assist.
And the 27-year-old spoke to WHUFC.com, highlighting how it will take time before he can start to show the West Ham faithful what he is truly capable of:
“I haven’t been here long, so no; I think it will still take some time to show my absolute best. I know that there is more for me to show to both my teammates and the supporters of the club.”
West Ham United’s Sofiane Feghouli with Slaven Bilic
Slaven Bilic’s men seem like they have finally turned the corner now, despite having the distraction of the Dimitri Payet saga rumbling on in the background, and have climbed inside the top half of the table.
And if Feghouli can continue to improve on a weekly basis, there is no reason why he can’t become the new fans’ favourite, and help fire his side into contention for the Europa League spots.
