Some Tottenham fans on social media have been raving over Carlos Vinicius after his performance against Wolfsberger AC on Wednesday.

The Brazilian found the back of the net twice against the Austrian outfit to continue his impressive goal scoring run in the Europa League.

The attacker has now scored six goals in seven games in European competition, and some Tottenham fans believe he should be getting a bit more credit for how well he’s doing.

Of course, there’s always going to be the argument that the opposition he’s scoring against isn’t of the best quality, but he’s still got to put the ball in the net, and he’s been doing just that.

The striker has to be brimming with confidence after his brace on Wednesday, and that’s exactly what Tottenham need from their players if they’re going to end their poor run of form in the league.

Unfortunately for Vinicius, his route to getting a start in the Premier League is blocked by a certain Harry Kane, so breaking into Mourinho’s first-choice XI anytime soon will be difficult, but scoring goals in the Europa League will only help his cause.

Spurs supporters were certainly impressed by what they saw from Vinicius, and here’s what they’ve been saying on social media…
