‘So that’s 90 players’: Some Spurs fans react to Romano’s transfer claim about Paratici

Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to claims that Fabio Paratici likes to work on ‘ten different players in the same position’ in the transfer market.

Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, made those claims on his Here We Go Podcast and stated that is the style of the new face in Tottenham’s boardroom.

Paratici hasn’t been in his new Spurs role for much long, but he has already brought in Nuno Espirito Santo as manager and now the focus is on transfers.

Tottenham fans are well aware that a number of new faces need to be brought in this summer if they are to move forward, as they expressed a mixed response to how Paratici conducts transfer business.

At the end of the day, if the crowd-pleasing players are brought in then all will be good.

But if Paratici stumbles in his first transfer window then it won’t go down well with the supporters and it will raise questions from Daniel Levy.

Players such as Danny Ings are being muted as striker options, not to replace Harry Kane, but to play alongside the England captain.

A signing such as that would be a very good start, but is it a case of Paratici having several strikers on the wishlist, as per Romano’s claims?

Either way, the players and the coaches have failed to do the job on the pitch over the years and now those in suits need to make sure this ship is steered in the right direction.
