David Beckham has stated that Liverpool transfer target and England star Jude Bellingham is ‘so talented’ ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The former England captain spoke about how he was ‘very excited’ to be sat alongside 19-year-old Bellingham, as he posted on Instagram.

With the 2022 World Cup set to take centre stage during these next few weeks, players from across the globe will be looking to write their names into the history books.

Borussia Dortmund star Bellingham, who was seemingly scouted by Liverpool and Manchester United last week, is no different.

This could be the stage where the all-action midfielder takes his talents to much higher heights and put himself on a much taller pedestal, as Beckham praised the player.

“I am very excited that I am with someone that is so talented,” said Beckham. “When I was seven-years-old, I only ever wanted to represent my country.

“Stepping out onto the pitch, with all those thousands of fans, it’s goosebumps.”

BELLINGHAM TO START FOR ENGLAND?

Gareth Southgate simply can’t ignore Bellingham and he has to start alongside West Ham United’s Declan Rice when England open their World Cup campaign against Iran next Monday.

To think that at 19, Bellingham is going to be handed such a key role is a credit to the player and his continual rise in the game.

There might be some interested parties hoping that he doesn’t have such a great tournament because his transfer fee will just increase by a stupid amount if he performs very well.
