Neymar has raved about Liverpool central defender Virgil van Dijk on DAZN Canada and has shared his appreciation of the Netherlands international centre-back.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward has played against Liverpool centre-back Van Dijk, and he has been hugely impressed.
The former Barcelona star, who is one of the best forward players in the world, said that that Van Dijk is tough to play against.

Neymar said about Van Dijk, as transcribed by TheBootRoom: “Playing against Van Dijk is tough because as a centre-back, he’s so strong and intelligent.
“He knows when it’s the right time to close you down and when to go in for a tackle. That makes it harder.
“He’s intelligent. It’s harder to play against intelligent centre-backs. They don’t make mistakes.”
Struggling
Like most of the other Liverpool players so far this season, Virgil van Dijk is struggling at the moment.
The Dutchman is making mistakes at the back and is not being the leader that we expect him to be.
The 31-year-old does not appear to be in top form at the moment, but we should stay confident that he will be back to his best soon.
After all, form is temporary and class is permanent.
Liverpool as a team are struggling at the moment, and for the Reds to get back on track and compete for the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League this season, Van Dijk will have to return to his best.
