Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Oliver Skipp against Vitesse.
What’s the story?
Tottenham were in action in the Europa Conference League tonight.
The Premier League club took on Vitesse at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It was new Spurs manager Antonio Conte’s first game in charge of the North London outfit.
Tottenham won 3-2 against a Vitesse side who ended the game with nine men.
Midfielder Oliver Skipp started the match and played for for 72 minutes.
The 21-year-old is just starting his career, and it was a great show of faith from Conte to include him in the starting lineup.
Skipp did relatively well in the middle of the park and broke Vitesse’s attacks, especially in the first half.
However, things became tough for the Tottenham academy graduate after Cristian Romero was sent off in the 59th minute.

What are Tottenham Hotspur fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Tottenham fans were impressed by Skipp’s performance tonight.
Well, some of them anyway.
Skipp is only 21, and it is clear that he is still raw and learning his trade.
However, the Englishman can only get better if he gets regular playing time.
And perhaps Conte will keep his faith in Skipp in the coming weeks.
