Arsenal supporters have taken to Twitter after seeing Dani Ceballos’s social media post about Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners hammered Southampton 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Alexandre Lacazette fired Arsenal ahead by finishing off a sublime team move which included 16 passes and started deep from the Londoners’ own box.

Ceballos took to Instagram to post ‘Made in Arteta’ in reference to the Arsenal manager’s philosophy about passing.

Here’s how supporters of the Emirates Stadium club reacted on Twitter:

Still admires Arteta

Ceballos spent 18 months playing under the former midfielder at Arsenal and based on this comment, the Spain international remains a fan of his old manager.

The Real Madrid playmaker originally joined the Premier League club under Unai Emery but despite a series of glittering performances under both coaches, consistency let the Spaniard down and Arteta and Edu elected against signing him on a permanent basis this past summer.

He stayed with the Bernabeu club this season but is yet to play a single minute under Carlo Ancelottti in any competition.

A January exit for Ceballos looks a certainty and having had two seasons on loan at Arsenal, the 25-year-old might fancy something a little more long term going forward.
