Liverpool youngster Sepp Van den Berg has admitted to the Liverpool Echo that Divock Origi is tough to defend against in training.
Origi may not have featured prominently for Liverpool this term, but he has proven a useful impact substitute throughout his time at Anfield.
Origi has a happy knack of scoring important goals for Liverpool.
And Van den Berg insists he is among the most challenging players to come up against in training, due to his electric pace.
“When you’re training 11 v 11, all of a sudden you go from Holland to having the best attacking front players in the world against you in training,” the central defender who has spent the back end of this season out on loan at Preston North End said.
“It was a big step for me. It was really good to experience that. For any young player to be able to be on the same pitch as players like that is really good for your development.
“I really liked it and can’t wait to play against them again in training.
“They (Salah, Firmino and Mane) are the obvious names. Lallana was unbelievable when he was still at Liverpool. You couldn’t get the ball off him. Even Divock Origi. He’s so quick, it’s unbelievable.”
Van den Berg’s comments come at an interesting time, as it seems Liverpool are gearing up to sell Origi in the summer.

The Belgian forward just hasn’t been able to force his way into Liverpool’s team this term, despite some of their other attackers also struggling for goals.
The Daily Mail say that he is one of a number of players who could leave Liverpool in the summer, as Jurgen Klopp’s side look to revamp areas of their squad.
If that happens Liverpool will surely look to add another striker to their squad, as they aim to increase the productivity of their forward line.
