Michel Vorm has praised Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies on Instagram after Antonio Conte’s side won against Graham Potter’s Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Tottenham beat Chelsea 2-0 in the London derby.

Oliver Skipp scored the opening goal for Spurs at the start of the second half.

Harry Kane made it 2-0 to Spurs on 82 minutes.

Davies started the match at left wing-back for Tottenham.

It was the £93,000-a-week (SalarySport) Wales international defender’s 300th appearance for Tottenham.

And, as you can see from his Instagram post below, Davies is pleased.

Vorm played with Davies at Swansea and Tottenham, and the Dutchman is very happy for the 29-year-old.

Big success at Spurs

Now, Ben Davies is not exactly a world-class defender, but there is no doubt that the Welshman has been a big success at Tottenham Hotspur.

The 29-year-old has been on the books of the North London club since 2014.

Davies is a versatile defender who can operate as a left-back, centre-back or left wing-back.

The Wales international is at the top of his game at the moment, and given that he is 29, we can expect him to stay in his prime for a while.
