Jamie Carragher has praised Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson on Twitter following his goal for England against Senegal at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
The Sky Sports pundit has said that Liverpool midfielder Henderson has proved his detractors wrong by scoring the opening goal for England in their Round of 16 tie against Senegal on Sunday.
The Three Lions broke the deadlock in the 38th minute through Henderson.
England broke quickly, with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham making a driving run and being found by Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Bellingham found Henderson, who ran from deep to score.
It was a brilliantly worked goal, and former Liverpool and England international defender Carragher was impressed, as you can see from his tweet below.
