Manchester City duo Jack Grealish and Phil Foden have caught the eye of Gary Lineker from inside England‘s World Cup camp.

The pair were filmed kicking a ball around in Qatar, although that is probably doing them a disservice.

Well, Foden and Grealish were caught on camera keeping the ball up in astonishing fashion, with neither of them letting it touch the ground for ages until the latter decided to extravagantly catch the ball between his legs.

The technique on show from both is incredible, and they really do make a very difficult task look simple.

You can see footage of Foden and Grealish showing off their skills below, as well as Lineker’s reaction.

When you see the pair do stuff like this, it really does seem odd to think Gareth Southgate left both of them on the bench for England’s 6-2 win over Iran.

Of course, both were substituted on, with Grealish finding the back of the net, although at least one of them has a case to be starting over the likes of Mason Mount or Raheem Sterling.

Nevertheless, it just goes to show the depth of talent Southgate has at his disposal – for most other nations, Foden and Grealish would be their best players by some margin.

Gareth Southgate has weapons in Foden and Grealish

Despite the fact they are both good enough to start, Foden and Grealish could be England’s secret weapons if they continue to start on the bench.

When opponents are tiring, the last thing they’ll want to see is two of the best footballers in England coming off the bench with fresh legs.

At a demanding tournament like the World Cup, where the weather is very intense in Qatar, it is imperative that Southgate utilises his bench, so we expect to see the Manchester City duo have a big part to play at some point.
