Speaking on Goal’s YouTube channel, Emile Smith Rowe has been asked to name who the best trainer at Arsenal is.
The Gunners have signed a number of young, hungry players who are willing to work incredibly hard over the past 12 months, but according to Smith Rowe, the top trainer at the club is Kieran Tierney.
Indeed, Smith Rowe says that the Scot is always putting 100 per cent into every session, and his energy makes other players within the squad feel more confident in training.
What’s been said?
Smith Rowe praised Tierney for the work he puts in at Colney.
“I’m going to give it to Kieran Tierney, just because he has so much energy in every training session, he’s always putting in 100 per cent and that gives all of the players so much confidence and he just helps everyone all the time,” Smith Rowe said.
Captain material
Martin Odegaard may be Arsenal’s new captain, but based on everything you hear about Tierney, we can’t help but think that the left-back would have been perfect for that role.
Indeed, the Scot seems to get on with everyone behind the scenes, he’s incredibly vocal on the pitch, he’s a great player and he’s the hardest worker in the team.
Tierney has been captain before at Celtic, and he could have been a fantastic skipper for Arsenal if he’d been entrusted with that responsibility.
One thing is for sure, Tierney is a great influence in the dressing room, and Arsenal are very lucky to have a player like this guiding their young core of talents.
