Jose Enrique has expressed his anger and disappointment on Twitter that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal could sign Moises Caicedo, and believes that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are falling behind.

Enrique made the comments about Liverpool while watching the FA Cup tie between Manchester City and Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on Friday evening.

The former Liverpool star was impressed by the high level of Arsenal and Manchester City.

The Gunners are the current Premier League leaders, while City are the defending English champions.

Liverpool may not even finish in the top four this season.

And there has been speculation that Arsenal want to sign Ecuador international midfielder Caicedo from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window.

According to 90min, Arsenal have had a bid of £60 million for the youngster turned down this week.

The Gunners reportedly plan to make a new offer.

Worrying for Liverpool?

In our view, Liverpool should not panic at what is happening at Arsenal right now.

Yes, the Gunners could win the Premier League title this season.

And yes, Arsenal have some wonderful players.

But, Liverpool have a brilliant team as well.

Just because the Reds are having a bad season does not mean that the squad needs a lot of changes.

Liverpool fans should trust the work that manger Jurgen Klopp is doing.
