Arsenal fans on Twitter have reacted to Chelsea signing Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of £71 million, according to BBC Sport.
Whilst many Premier League teams have been slow to conclude business during this delayed summer transfer window, Arsenal’s London rivals have been buying players left, right and centre.
There are sections of Arsenal fans who admitted that Frank Lampard has a top-quality player on his hands, whilst others think that he may struggle and he isn’t better than what Mikel Arteta already has.
Either way, it’s a serious sign of intent from the blue half of London, who will be battling with Arsenal once again next season.
Arteta himself has made noises in the transfer market, with Gabriel being his standout purchase from French side Lille, as well as bringing Willian over from Stamford Bridge.

But judging by the Havertz transfer, added with the likes of Timo Werner also signing, it looks as though Lampard’s men may well be challenging for the Premier League title because they have concluded some seriously stunning piece of business during these last few months.
