Tottenham supporters on Twitter were delighted for their former academy product Nicky Tsaroulla after his emotional FA Cup performance on Sunday.
A one-time Tottenham academy product, Tsaroulla missed a year of his career following a car crash before being released by the North London club.
Understandably, it has been a tough journey for the defender, but the now-Crawley player showcased what he is all about over the weekend.
Tsaroulla scored a brilliant goal for Crawley during their 3-0 FA Cup win against Leeds and Spurs fans were pretty impressed with his opening goal.
His brilliant run inside the penalty area after a one-two resulted in the giant killers eventually going onto cause one of the upsets of the round.
Whilst the League Two side haven’t been drawn up against Tottenham in the next round, they are delighted for their former player and praised him for his emotional post-match interview.
It’s what the FA Cup is all about and given the magic of the cup, Tsaroulla will be hoping for a reunion with his former club if his side can continue their run.
