Uli Koehler has claimed that when new players join Borussia Dortmund, they are stunned by the talents of Liverpool transfer target, Jude Bellingham.

The Sky Germany reporter added that players think he is ‘so good’ and the ‘future of England’, as he told Sky Sports.

At the age of 19, Bellingham already has an £100 million price tag on his head, with Liverpool keen to snap him up.

More than likely, that won’t happen this summer, but there is every chance the Reds could knock on Dortmund’s door in 12 months time.

If teams do come in for Bellingham, then Koehler shared that Dortmund will go down fighting because they are determined to keep him.

“If they can (keep him long-term), then they will do it,” said Koehler. “They are putting everything in it to keep Jude Bellingham. He’s an incredible player.

“Every new player that joins say ‘what a player is that Jude Bellingham. This guy is so young and so good. He is the future of England’.

“But Dortmund are hoping that he is the future of Dortmund. They will battle (to keep him). They will go all in.

“The television money is much higher in the Premier League than the Bundesliga, but they will go all in to keep Bellingham.”

BELLINGHAM SHOULD STAY AT DORTMUND

It needs to be remembered that Bellingham just turned 19, so, from his perspective, he doesn’t need to rush anywhere.

He could spend the next three or four years playing in front of the Yellow Wall, and if he were to make a transfer after that, then he would still be considered a youngster.

There’s no doubt that Bellingham is heading towards being a top, top performer for the next 15 years, which is an incredible thought.

A regular for England, earning 100+ England caps and possibly wearing the captain’s armband down the line.

Either way, at the rate Bellingham is going, every top team in world football is going to want to sign him if they already don’t.
