Speaking on the England YouTube channel, Jack Grealish has been full of praise for Everton’s Jordan Pickford.
The Manchester City ace, along with some of his other teammates, was tasked with picking a 5-a-side team from the current England crop, and understandably, Grealish picked Pickford as his goalkeeper.
What’s been said?
Grealish was full of praise for the stopper.
“Pickers is a joke man, he’s so good as well with his feet,” Grealish said.
Grealish wasn’t the only player with good things to say about Pickford. Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka echoed a similar sentiment.
“He’s got good distribution, so he’s probably going to be a quality player in there anyway,” Saka said.

Great 5-a-side goalie
Pickford is one of the Premier League’s best goalkeepers, but we have to say that he’d be even better in 5-a-side.
In smaller goals, his lack of reach won’t be as much of a problem, while his incredible ball striking ability would make him a real threat creatively as well.
Actually, in 5-a-side, Pickford could even be a goal threat. He certainly hits the ball that hard, and with his incredible accuracy, he’d surely be able to pick out a top corner from distance.
Grealish and Saka have certainly made a great choice for their hypothetical teams.
