Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has raved about Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison on Sky Sports.

Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

Richarlison moved to Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham from Everton in the summer transfer window for £50 million (Sky Sports).

Jesus and Richarlison are Brazil national teammates, and both of the forwards will play for their country at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.

After Richarlison was called up to the Brazil squad for the Qatar World Cup, Jesus congratulated him on Instagram despite being rivals at club level.

Jesus said: “Normally I don’t comments on photos of this kind, but I think Richarlison has been doing so good in the national team and he deserves a lot. Then I congratulated him.”

Important players

Gabriel Jesus is a key figure at Arsenal, and Richarlison is growing in importance for Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Everton star has had injury problems this season, but when fit and available, he has made an impact at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

We think that Richarlison’s importance in Antonio Conte’s team will only grow in the second half of the season.

As for Jesus, he has already established himself as a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team, who are aiming to win the Premier League title this season.
