Not good enough for Aberdeen but now Celtic bound?
Dundee’s Scott Bain
Celtic are pushing for a deal to sign Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain, according to the Daily Record.
The Daily Record report Bain is likely to leave the club this summer as he has only 18 months left on his contract and has so far refused to commit to a new deal.
A switch to the Scottish champions would be a huge career move for the 25-year-old, who could replace veteran Craig Gordon.

Bain, 25, has bounced back from a setback earlier in his career when he was released as a teenager by Aberdeen.
After being let go in 2011 he signed with Alloa Athletic before landing a deal with Dundee in 2014.
Speaking to the Evening Times in 2015 he admitted his Aberdeen exit still hurt.
He said: “When you get told you’re not good enough as a kid, you can go two ways: it can destroy you or make you stronger. It just built a belief in myself that they had made a mistake. I wanted to prove them wrong and prove myself right.
“That’s why, when I first came to Dundee, I liked playing against Aberdeen a bit more.”
Bain has since been called up to the Scotland international squad although is yet to make his debut.
