Snoop Dogg has shared his impression of Victor Wembanyama, describing the San Antonio Spurs star as both humble and transformed since entering the NBA.

The interaction offered a different perspective on Wembanyama, away from the court and into how he carries himself off it.

It also highlighted just how striking his presence is, even to someone used to meeting global stars.

Snoop Dogg’s Victor Wembanyama meeting story stands out

Snoop on The Ringer podcast detailed his reaction after coming face-to-face with the Spurs forward.

“I took a picture with him. This is me [pointing down], this is cuz [pointing up]. I couldn’t believe it. I’m like, ‘Man, it’s a pleasure to meet you, dawg. But he was cool as hell, though.

“He was a cool, cool cat. I met him and his mom,” Snoop said.

The moment captures both Wembanyama’s physical presence and his personality, with Snoop focusing as much on his character as his height.

It reinforces how quickly Wembanyama has become a recognizable figure beyond basketball.

Snoop also pointed to how Wembanyama has developed physically since entering the league.

“I’m happy for him, too because I like what he did. When he first came, he was frail. He’s been in the gym. He’s a gangsta now,” Snoop added.

The comment reflects the visible changes in Wembanyama’s frame, which have been part of his early progression in the NBA.

It also speaks to how quickly he has adapted to the demands of the league.

For Snoop, the combination of personality and growth makes Wembanyama stand out, both as a player and as a presence off the court.
