Robert Snodgrass says he knows all about Sheffield Wednesday’s Fernando Forestieri.

Hull City star Robert Snodgrass has urged the referee to watch out for Sheffield Wednesday star Fernando Forestieri potentially diving in the upcoming Championship final, the Mirror report.
Forestieri has earned himself a reputation for going down easily this season, and was sent off in successive league encounters earlier this year with his latter dismissal coming against Hull at the KC Stadium.

Snodgrass suggests there is no glory in helping your team win via cheating, and he adds the officials will need to be way of the Wednesday favourite’s antics when the two sides meet at Wembley.
“I wouldn’t like to win at Wembley by cheating. I think there are a lot better and more respectable ways to help your team-mates,” Snodgrass told the Mirror when asked about Forestieri’s antics.
“You don’t want somebody cheating. It’s cheating the referee who has a hard enough job as it is. The officials will need to watch him, especially if that’s his reputation and he’s been sent off a few times for it.”

Forestieri has been Wednesday’s outstanding player this season, scoring a number of important goals and displaying a never-say-die attitude which the supporters have warmed to.
The Argentine star likes to get on the ball and drive at defenders, and in some cases he has been unfairly punished by referees when deemed to be diving despite evidence suggesting otherwise.
However, reputations come about for a reason and they are often hard to shake off, especially in a league where such antics are frowned about by the supporters and numerous media outlets.
