Aston Villa fans think that Ezri Konsa is now looking like a brilliant signing.
Villa paid £12 million to sign Konsa from Brentford last summer (BBC Sport), and he has now grown into a key player of their starting line-up.
Konsa scored Villa’s goal last night, as they beat Sheffield United 1-0.
And Villa fans feel that Konsa could well turn out to be an absolute bargain signing, given the improvements he has made during his time with them.
Konsa actually looked like he may have to come off for stage last night, when he appeared to hurt his hamstring, but he played through the pain barrier and was rewarded for his efforts.
Konsa’s goal was just his second in the Premier League, and he now seems to have established his position as Tyrone Mings partner in Villa’s defence.
Dean Smith’s side are next in action in the league when they take on Fulham next Monday.
