Arsenal playmaker Emile Smith Rowe has got some Bayern Munich fans talking on Twitter after his comments about Serge Gnabry.
The Germany international quit the Gunners back in 2016 and has since become a world-class talent.
Gnabry scored nine goals in 10 Champions League games for the German giants in helping them to the title last season.
It’s quite a transformation by virtue of the fact that he barely had a look-in at the Emirates Stadium under Arsene Wenger who, in his defence, had the likes of Alexis Sanchez back then.
But 20-year-old Smith Rowe has admitted in an interview with The Sun that Gnabry is certainly a player that he looks to, based on how much he has improved.
And here’s how some Bayern fans reacted to his comments on Twitter:
Smith Rowe has come on leaps and bounds and not only is he a fine player, but he seems to be made of the right stuff, too.
So much of success in football – or any walk of life – is about attitude and the young Hale End graduate certainly has that, and genuine talent, in his favour.
