Jamie Carragher has said on Sky Sports Premier League (10:56pm, August 23, 2021) that he loves watching Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe.
The former Liverpool star has said that Smith Rowe has been outstanding so far this season, adding that he enjoyed watching the Arsenal youngster last season.
Carragher said about Smith Rowe on Sky Sports Premier League (10:56pm, August 23, 2021): “I am a massive fan. I loved watching him last season. I think he has been outstanding even though Arsenal have made such a poor start to the season.”
Wonderful talent
Smith Rowe is a very good and promising young attacking midfielder who did extremely well for Arsenal last season.
The 21-year-old established himself as a key figure in the Arsenal midfield last season and produced some wonderful performances.
The Arsenal no.10 scored two goals and gave four assists in 20 Premier League matches.
The youngster also scored one goal and provided three assists in 11 Europa League appearances last season.
Smith Rowe can play out on the wing and then cut inside or he can operate in a more central role.
The youngster is very good on the ball, is always available for his teammates, and is not afraid to make the tough decisions.
For Arsenal to have a successful season, Smith Rowe will have to be on top of his game throughout.
Smith Rowe is only 21, but he plays like a very mature footballer who knows when to pick the right passes.
