West Ham United fans have been having their say after the club’s new home shirt appeared to be leaked during Manuel Pellegrini’s appointment announcement.

West Ham fans love to see a bit of effort made with their kits whether they respect tradition, go retro or try to be original.
It is all change for the Hammers this summer with new manager Manuel Pellegrini coming in and transfers
And West Ham are set for new kits as well with Umbro preparing to release their penultimate set of strips before their deal with the club expires in 2020.
It appears the Hammers have revealed their new home shirt during the official unveiling of Pellegrini as David Moyes’ replacement.
In the announcement on the club’s official website, Pellegrini is pictured holding the new shirt with his name on the back.

It features the diamond Umbro logo pattern in the blue sleeve trim and says ‘IRONS’ on the back of the collar but the front cannot be seen.
That little glimpse has been enough to spark a mixed reaction from West Ham fans, though, with the biggest complaint aimed at the absence of the traditional blue sleeves.
But it was not all negative with some supporters pointing out that the less traditional kits over the years have been some of the most popular.
Whether West Ham used the announcement to tease the kit and get fans talking we don’t know.
But if they did it has certainly worked.
Here’s a selection of reactions from Twitter.
